One for all and all for one

Nothing says English summer like an open air theatre performance.  On a good day it's all picnic rugs and Pimms, on a bad day it's a brolly, a blanket and a flask.

But the weather was kind to us and the stage was laid in glorious sunshine giving the audience a view across the water and beyond.

Pentillie really is a stunning backdrop, run by the wonderfully warm Coryton family and their team.

The Three Musketeers is a proper swashbuckling tale, with sword fights and passion.  The audience loved it and so did we.

Best bits? Chocolate and banana pizza went down a storm - we were pretty much trampled in the rush!  And of course the cockerel who was less than impressed by one of our menu choices….
